Outdoor fitness is a great way to get in shape, whilst making new friends and enjoying the outdoors. There are plenty of outdoor fitness groups within the Kensington and Chelsea borough, such as British Military Fitness. BMF is available for K&C residents in both Hyde Park and Battersea Park.
British Military Fitness is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, whilst getting fit. The class involves a whole body workout to build on stamina, speed, agility and strength and lasts for about 50 minutes, followed by a cool down session. The classes are divided into different groups based on personal abilities, so you can be a complete beginner!
One of the locations offered is in Battersea Park just across from the Chelsea Embankment. The class meets in the Chelsea Bridge car park near the river just along from the Peace Pagoda. The best entrance to the park is off Queenstown Road along the south side of the Chelsea Bridge.
British Military Fitness is an outdoor fitness group that involves a whole body workout to build on stamina, speed, agility and strength. Classes are divided into groups of approximately 15 people, based on individuals’ abilities. It starts with a warm up session, 50 minutes of workout, followed by a cool down session.
The location in Hyde Park is particularly beautiful with a gorgeous green backdrop, as well as the Serpentine. The class meets in the Triangle car park just off of Exhibition Road, which is across the Serpentine from the Diana Memorial Fountain.
